The document details the results achieved and the progress made over time, with a particular focus on key issues such as reducing emissions, improving energy efficiency and promoting the well-being of staff.
The EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) is a voluntary environmental declaration that transparently describes a product’s environmental impact throughout its entire life cycle. It is based on the LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) methodology, which analyses all stages, from the extraction of raw materials through to production, and on to use and final disposal or recycling. The EPD is an internationally recognised tool in Europe, thanks to mutual recognition agreements between the various national bodies, which guarantee its reliability and comparability.
